It has taken me way longer to get 6 blocks than I thought. I have found a building that allows me access to the internet, but I need to get that radio. Maybe it won't do me a lick of good, but I need something to live for right now. The streets are so quiet. The birds don't even sing.

It has been weird these last few days. Power to the city has been fluctuating on and off about a dozen times a day. I think they must be testing something. There have been less of them on the streets at night. I finally got a half-decent look at one of them.

They are about four or four and a half feet tall. They aren't skinny like in the movies, they are wiry but they look fairly strong. They drag the people they find, they look like they are dragging rag dolls. Their heads are big but not like the movies, they are more... streamlined. Like a mix of Alien and Mars Attacks, I know it sounds crazy.

I have seen less bodies. I get sick thinking about what they may be doing with those people, my parents... My sister.

I am going to try to make it across the street to the Radio Shack tomorrow. It looks like the building is still structurally sound. But, they destroyed the building right next door, so I will have to be careful.

I haven't eaten for five days now. The food that I was able to stockpile was left in the library basement when they destroyed it. I found some scraps here and there but with the power having been off for so long, and all of the looting, there is not much left. I will search this building tonight, when I feel that it is safe enough.

Hopefully by tomorrow night I will have the CB, another form of communication. If you are receiving these messages please help. I have no idea what is going on outside of this city. But I have been having nightmares of the possibilities since the invasion occurred. Please, find me, I don't know how much longer I can survive.

I am not sure what neighborhood your in but here in Ingleside we showed the invaders what was up. I have this tomahawk and when I reveal it the aliens always seem to run and hide. What color are the aliens in your neighborhood and how tall are they.

Well, the prospects certainly *do not* look good. Poor shmoe. It must be so disappointing to find out that those responsible for the destruction of our planet are runty little A-holes. Looks like you're guy needs a good education in urban survival. He's not being as resourceful as he could be:

You sure are preaching to the choir. The power in my neighborhood is also going on and off a lot these days. Your theory explains the screams I hear at night outside. Anyways if you are looking for a good read, I suggest going to this site for a good read.
